MARKETING COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direction of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for updates to the firm’s social media channels, email communications through the firm’s CRM, support for conferences and tradeshow exhibits, conducting research to support the firm’s marketing objectives, assisting with the design and production of marketing collateral, and performing additional functions for the department as requested. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as firm’s Social Media Ambassador, helping to develop and execute GG+A’s social media strategy, including messaging and posting, responding to and developing audiences
  • Oversees production and distribution of targeted e-blasts (such as new hire announcements, GG+A News Digest); prepares and manages mailing lists, distribution, and email tracking reports via CRM and related analytic tools
  • Performs Internet-based research to support marketing objectives (this also includes industry trends, professional guidance, competitor intelligence)
  • Maintains and distributes marketing materials for the firm’s Practice Area Leaders.  Assists in developing and executing webinars
  • Tracks and reports weekly/monthly metrics for website and social media engagement
  • Maintains marketing calendar including ad deadlines, conferences, newsletters
  • Seeks and attains permissions for GG+A’s use of client logos, images, quotes, and other third-party content in the firm’s marketing collateral, website, and social media

KEY TASKS:

  • Contribute to the creation/strategic direction of marketing materials
  • Provide support for all Webinar activity, including technical assistance, promotion, tracking participants and sales leads, and related logistics
  • Produce weekly activity reports regarding marketing tasks, deadlines, and completed tasks
  • Coordinate recurring and special marketing related mailings, including but not limited to: newsletters (including the Grenzebach Glier Quarterly Review), press releases, announcements, and sales collateral
  • Inventory and order marketing supplies and collateral material to ensure department is well stocked with necessary information packets, mailings, etc. at all times
  • Maintain client lists, staff resumes, bios, press releases, client references, and related support materials
  • Provide support and coordination for department’s efforts, including copying, binding, and mailing of marketing materials
  • Provide support to consultants in advance of speaking engagements and presentations at conferences

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, journalism, communications, or similar discipline
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working within a marketing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in working with organizations in the non-profit sector
  • Excellent proofreading skills 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of HTML, Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, and video editing software
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency in social media, including aggregation and content curation tools (e.g., HootSuite, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Experience with collaboration and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making, balance multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner in dealing with colleagues and clients
