Summary

The Consultant for Advanced Analytics is responsible for delivering the firm’s analytic products, including predictive analytics, modeling and prospect-level data analysis. This includes creating internal and external analyses, addressing industry-leading questions, and utilizing information and technology to support growth and innovation in various philanthropic sectors.  Responsibilities include direct sales to external clients, overseeing analytic deliverables for multifaceted firm engagements as well as managing stand-alone Advanced Analytics products and services. Building a book of new and extended client business is critical, requiring successful consultants to focus significant efforts on business development and sales in order to establish and develop a pipeline of upcoming business, while simultaneously ensuring that current clients receive thoughtful, accurate, and timely services and reports. GG+A Consultants at all levels are expected and incentivized to leverage opportunities presented by personal and professional networks, lapsed client relationships of the firm, and scheduled client travel to arrange and conduct client outreach visits. As a member of the Analytics team, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a record in maintaining strong client relationships and providing clear analytic deliverables that enhance productivity and output. Critical to the role will be experience within development and fundraising, coupled with strong analytical skills that help drive future analytic innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consults with clients around utilization of prospect-level data in fundraising planning and execution
  • Designs and implements product innovation within the predictive analytics services
  • Collaborates with firm wide projects
  • Develops and works his/her own Individual Plan (annual sales, marketing, and growth plans)
  • Takes initiative to seek and secure new clients and business; participates in business development and sales presentations/initiatives to build GG+A’s client base

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of campaign operations
  • 1-3 years’ experience with donor management systems
  • Excellent communication skills; an ability to teach/explain complex concepts both verbally and visually
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Ability to work independently and drive outcomes
  • Preferred experience and interest in nonprofits
