Grenzebach Glier and Associates is seeking Data Analysis Professionals to join its growing Analytics team.

The candidates will have a unique opportunity to learn about fundraising management best practices emphasized in our firm’s products and services and its data-driven approach to achieving the unique institutional goals of our clients.

The Data Analysis Professional is responsible for providing direct analytical and reporting support to consultants and clients in delivering the firm’s array of data/analytical products and services for the philanthropic sector. This includes the preparation of various complex and detailed data analysis materials and deliverables as required of many consulting engagements throughout the year.

The candidate will be utilizing various database technology and reporting systems and will contribute in the development of new products and services in a growing market.  This position also provides general operational support to DonorScape®, GG+A’s web-based prospect analysis tool.

The candidate will work closely with sales, consulting, client support, and other staff in maintaining the firm’s reputation for the highest quality work product and client service. The positions reports to the Vice President/Director of Operations.


  • Lead data collection/technical calls with clients regarding data file/input requirements, data definitions, and processing specifics
  • Perform data quality assessments on inbound client files, utilizing manual query methods, visual observation, and/or data profiling tools
  • Process client data files in a timely fashion with the highest quality outcomes.  This includes data evaluation, cleansing, and reformatting, as required
  • Analyze results of screening and modeling processes and prepare insightful reports and presentations
  • Conduct and participate in team-based quality assurance reviews of all deliverables
  • Participate in project planning and attend project management meetings and ensure project deadlines are met
  • Participate in client team meetings, and over time, help develop client-specific program strategies and recommendations based on analysis
  • Communicate and interact with consultants and subject matter experts to gain thorough understanding of how data supports consulting work
  • Document procedures utilizing various mediums including, but not limited to, flow-chart mapping and written narratives
  • Contribute to the improvement of our data analysis process, including data extraction and loading, transformation, coding, storage, and reporting


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience with business intelligence, analytics, or related fields
  • Proficiency in database management, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and reporting tools
  • Data visualization experience, such as Tableau, a plus
  • Excellent communications skills for client facing responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands. Ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to identify and communicate issues and resolutions using process-improvement and/or problem-solving techniques
  • Familiarity with higher education and other nonprofit institutions a plus
